Before Starting
Here are a few things to consider before starting a Left 4 Dead 2 server: You will need to install the game from Steam if you haven't already. Download Here (opens in a new tab)

Server Setup
How to setup your server using the DNSworld dashboard.
Log in into your account to access the DNSworld dashboard.

Activate Server
Once your account has been created and have logged-in, you will have to choose Left 4 Dead 2 from the drop-down menu and press ACTIVATE BETA SERVER
. This will automatically create your server.

Access Your Server
Your server will show up under Your Servers. Click onto your Left 4 Dead 2 Server as shown below to access your server dash.

Obtain Server IP and Port
Once logged into your server dash on the top ribbon click on the network tab to access your server IP Address and Port. These will be crucial when connecting to your server in game. We recommend keeping this page open to easily access your IP address and port when launching the game.

Launch L4D2 Console
Launch L4D2 via Steam and Press the tilde ~
key which will open the Console.

Run Connect Command
In the Console you will want to type Connect in the search bar at the bottom followed by your servers IP Address and Port collected in step 4. Examples shown below:
connect 123.456.789.012:27015

Once done press Enter on your keyboard and the server will automatically connect you within 15-30 seconds. Happy Gaming from the DNSworld team!
